LET’S GO KROGERING!
I must admit, I LOVE that Kroger is in the Cincinnati area. This is the most coupon friendly store that we have and the company offers GREAT deals! I am able to purchase items for my family as well as get a lot of donations from their sales.
Before you begin, be sure to sign up for a Kroger Plus card at the Customer Service desk or go here to do it online.
Here’s the low down:
1. Kroger will double manufacture coupons $.50 and under. Meaning a $.50 coupon will be worth $1, a $.20 coupon will be redeemed for $.40. A $.51 to $.99 will take be redeemed for $1. Any coupon over $1 will be redeemed at face value.
2. Kroger will accept Internet Printable coupons. These can be in color or black and white.
3. There are several websites to upload coupons to your Kroger Plus card. These coupons are redeemed at face value and WILL NOT be doubled. (I will explain in detail below)
4. Kroger will accept a unlimited amount of coupons in 1 transaction, unless stated on the coupon itself. Meaning if you purchase 4 Tony’s Pizza for $2.99, you may use 4 $.50 off 1 coupons, with all 4 coupons doubling to $1.
5. Special orders are very easy with Kroger. Be sure to do this at the Customer Service desk.
6. Weekly sales start on Monday, rather than Sunday in the Cincinnati area.
Websites that allow you to upload coupons onto your Kroger Plus card:
1. Shortcuts.com, has a lot of Kroger brand coupons.
2. Cellfire.com, updates coupons every 2 weeks. Be sure to check back often!
3. Upromise.com, deposits the savings into a account for a child’s college fund. You can do this for yourself, your own children or grandchildren.
4. Kroger Esite.
*Note: All uploadable coupons are redeemed at face value and will not be doubled. There is only 1 item that the uploadable coupons will be redeemed on. For instance, if you buy 2 Fiber One Bars and you have a $.40 off 1 uploadable coupon from shortcuts.com, only $.40 will be deducted. These savings will reflect on your receipt.*
KROGER FUEL PROGRAM
Be sure to use your Kroger Plus card every time you make a purchase at Kroger. For every $100 in groceries purchased you receive 100 points. 100 points can be used for $.10 off per gallon of fuel for 1 fill up.
For every 2 Non-Federally funded prescriptions you receive another 100 points.
For every $50 in gift cards (excluding Kroger Gift Cards, Green dot cards, MoneyPaks and Western Union) you will receive 100 Points.
All points will be printed at the bottom of your receipt. There is a limit of 1,000 points to be redeemed on a single fill up.
If you have a 1-2-3 Master Card and pay for fuel at the pump you will save an extra $.05 a gallon.
When filling at Kroger stations, you’re able to save up to $1 off per gallon with accumulated points. If you are running low on gas and there is no Kroger fueling station in sight, you can enter your alternate identification (usually telephone number) to save $.10 per gallon.

Will Krogers stack cellfire (or shortcut) coupons with a paper coupon?
Marci
Kelly, This is a great question. You CAN NOT combine a electronic coupon with a paper coupon. If you try to do so, the register will beep alerting the cashier the coupon isn’t to be accepted. Both are manufacture coupons and you can’t use 2 manufacture coupons on 1 item. Does that answer your question?
