Super Simple Recipe | Alfredo Sauce

I’ve been looking for a quick, easy and delicious recipe to keep on hand for Alfredo Sauce. For some reason, I’ve been craving it early on in my pregnancy. During Christmas, Jason’s Aunt Nan cooked us up a delicious meal and I had to get her Alfredo Sauce recipe, so here’s the recipe:

1 lb box fettuccine noodles (I use multi-grain or wheat to be more healthy)

¼ c butter

1 c whipping cream (I use light or half and half)

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tbsp minced garlic

¼ c freshly grated Parmesan Cheese

Additional Parmesan for the table

Melt butter in large skillet.  When butter foams, add cream.  Simmer (~2 min) until slightly thickened.  Season with salt and pepper.  Cook and drain noodles.  Add them to the cream mixture.  Stir in ¼ c Parmesan.   Toss and heat for a minute or 2  to warm (stir or it will burn).

And enjoy!

This looks awesome and it has my favorite word in it: SIMPLE. Lol. I can cook well enough to keep us from starving but it’s hard for me to mix things up. This sounds much better than the stuff I get out of the jar. I am marking it so I can try it. Thank you so much. I love that I found blogs because you always have great recipes that my picky family will eat and that won’t break the bank.
