Every year during April and May there are tons of items that you can expect to pay less on. By knowing what items these are, you’ll save yourself hundreds of dollars!

With grilling season on the minds, you can expect to pick up condiments for FREE at local grocery stores. This is a great time to stockpile for the entire spring and summer seasons and will get you addicted to saving money!

Mother’s Day is May 8 and expect many spas to be offerings discounts specials. For example, you’ll find Identity offering gift certificate specials. For instance for Valentine’s Day they ran a promotion pay $40 for a $50 Gift Certificate.

During the month of April many amusement parks will offer a “spring fever” sale and this entices last minute purchases at great savings. Often times Kings Island will run a FREE Parking promotion during this time. You’ll also see deep discounts at Cedar Point parks and can save time by purchasing tickets online. A local Cincinnati attraction, Coney Island will offer savings just in time for Memorial Day on May 30.

With new toys and electronics being shipped in March, you can save up to 70% off electronics and toys. Many retailers often tend to put toys on clearance soon after Christmas, while the electronics are marked down in May to make room for the new shipments on new products in May. Be sure to keep your eye out and check your local Target, Best Buy and HHGregg stores. Also, be sure to ask for a discount on the “old” version’s display model. Depending on the item, this will save you hundreds!

If you’re in the market for kitchen supplies April and May are a great time to purchase these items. You will begin to see sales to take note of upcoming graduation parties and celebrate those who will be married in the summer months, which is the busiest time for those in the wedding industry.

If you have been thinking about selling your home, now is the time to put it on the market. From the middle of February through the summer months, buyers are looking! This is also a great time to be looking for a home as there are more homes for sales and opens the doors for negotiations as there are competition in the housing market with lots of options to choose from.

With new makes and models being released in June expect to see deep discounts on vacuums in April and May.

With Spring Fever in the air, Garage Sales are slowly opening up. Take advantage of sales in your neighborhood. Take a list of items that you are looking for and ask!
