We all know that one of the most memorable times in our lives is giving birth. While the 9 months leading up to the event can be very emotional, the excitement and pure joy quickly becomes our memory.

I was so excited to learn about a new website and had to share it with you. I know some of you are scrapbookers and had to let you aware of the The Day Baby Was Born website. This is a great tool to utilitze to keep track of your pregnancy symptoms, let others know about the upcoming birth and just a way to communicate with friends and family!
I have been really bad about keeping friends and family in the loop with this pregnancy. I think that’s partially in part to being so damn sick all the time. From week 8 until 20 I suffered from hypermesis {very ill, lost weight, in and out of hospital}. There was about 5-6 weeks that I felt great and took advantage of that by getting babies room together, washed clothes, etc. and now I’m back to not feeling good. So I want to be sure that I enter all of this information somewhere so that my children have it in the future.
With the The Day Baby Was Born site I am going to write a few journal entries and then print the stories out and put into a scrapbook. I did this with Mini Me, but, it was on a more personal level and didn’t include family and friends! You can also choose newspaper clippings on the day that your child is actually born! How amazing is that?!? So just incase you forget to grab a newspaper the day the little bundle of joy is born, you’ll still be able to grab a piece of their history! Don’t you just love technology?!?
Here’s what you can do with TheDay Baby Was Born site:
- Facebook Wall comments and well-wishes by friends and family through pregnancy and birth announcements
- Your pregnancy journal from each week of the journey to the birth day
- News, facts and information from the day your baby was born
- Your personal story and letter to baby to preserve forever the feelings from that day
- It’s is a simple way to create a beautiful record of the world at the moment your baby arrived
I can not wait to fill in the birth story for our second daughter. I know that it is going to be a special and intimate moment and can not wait for the moment that my two daughters meet for the first time. I know my heart is going to melt!
So if you are pregnant or know someone who is be sure to check out The Day Baby Was Born and create the memories that’ll last a life time!
