I had a horrible time at Kroger today. It was my first trip to the Kroger Mega sale at my Amelia location {Shout out to ya girls!}. We were unable to get the printable coupons to scan. Then the manager came over and tried to enter them into the system manually and was unable to do that. She received an error code “Item Code Not Found”.
She then noticed that my coupons were a different value than the ones she had taken earlier in the day from a savvy shopper! She pulled them from another register and noticed they were also different batch numbers. So now I’m totally confused and had to put back $50 in product and take home $30 in coupons because they weren’t being able to get taken off. While this saddens me, I was frustrated at the fact that I took the time to print these coupons, wasted printer ink and my time shopping for these products.
I’ve put a call into Coupons.com (the only printable coupons we had issues with) and left a message. I’m awaiting a return phone call and trying to find a direct contact. If you have had similar experience I’d love to hear about it so when I do speak with someone I can also make them aware of your problems.
UPDATE: 8/22 2:13pm EST – I spoke with a representative from Coupons.com today and he assured me that this has got to be a incident at my store. He’s looking into it, but, in the instance this has happened to you I need to know so that together we can fix the problem.
