It was just a few minutes after the first tower was hit that I learned about the acts of terrorism that was taking place. As a almost 21 year old, I was devastated and glued to the television as I saw the second plane attack the second building and then learned about the down plan in PA.
I remember thinking to myself, what kind of person would commit such a cowardly crime? But, as we were soon to learn those who participated in the acts were heartless SOB’s who have no right now be on this Earth.
No person is born to do such crimes and want to endure harm on others lives. Our world was shattered into millions of pieces, literally. Lives were lost, memories were demolished and yet we as a country came together on that morning of September 11, 2001.
Let us NEVER FORGET what happened on this day as it’s a tale that’ll be told in the history books for decades to come. Let us remember the sense of community that we as a country created on that September morning. Let us STAND TALL as a country against these heinous acts of crime and show those who has no shame, that this will not be tolerated and you will pay for your sins.
