When it comes to stockpiling for my family of 3 it’s simple. I purchase enough product to last my family three months. Why three months? Because the sale will come back around!
Every store has a sales cycle. For example every November you can expect stores to have sales on baking items. Why? Every Memorial and Labor day there are great sales on soda. During this time the store gets you in to grab the items that you’ll need for your Thanksgiving dinners.
Now that you know that there is no need to have 100 Suave lotions in your stockpile for a family of 6. I could see 2-3 bottles of lotion. Afterall, lotion lasts a long time.
I do a lot of stockpiling for my family and also do a lot of donating. I’m reasonable about purchasing product and leaving some for others. I’m even having a hard time getting my Kroger to order 100 Crest Toothpastes because they’re having a shortage since it’s such a great deal.
So, what is to much? Is 30 cans of Campbell’s Cream of Mushroom soup to much? Is it the 100 Reach Toothpastes or 80 packages of toilet paper?
